How can I use Simplink to connect a home theater system?

I have an LG Simplink-equipped TV. I have been shopping around for a home theater system and want to spend as little as possible on it.

My current setup:
Xbox 360 connected directly to TV via HDMI.
AT&T U-verse DVR connected directly to TV via HDMI.

If I add this sound system (http://salestores.com/lglht734.html) as a 3rd HDMI hookup, will it work with the other two HDMI connect devices?

I'm thinking my only other option is to get an A/V receiver with at least 2 HDMI inputs, connect the Xbox and DVR to that and connect to the TV through that.

In short, no. LG simplink says it only works with other simplink devices. However, it could work, as it is supposedly HDMI-CEC compliant. However, simplink will not turn on your AVR for you, so if you want a single remote solution, LG is the only manufacturer that decided to prevent its users from doing this.
