pro-choice stance? Or close to it? ? I'm considering joining a church, but I'm not a "holyroller." Many will tout their churches to be tolerant, but let's face it, most have a strict code that they follow and they REALLY have staunch beliefs against certain lifestyle choices. Is there a church that's hard on crime (fine with executing murderers), for gay rights, pro-choice (while not promoting abortion as the first and only choice, if you know what I mean), believes that there can be misinterpretations of the human-written Bible, etc.? Just curious. I'd probably be a part-time church goer anyway, but I just want to know what's out there. Is Unitarian close? (If you respond, please provide answers instead of a slam against what I've written here).
