I'm going to have some kicker cvr 12" subs installed; I have a 1000 watt crunch power zone amp for now. My question: Is it better to get 2 ohm subs and wire them parallel to mono. ( the amp has a switch to use in mono mode.) or would it be better to get 4 ohm subs and wire in stereo? I heard somewhere I would get better bass and less stress on amp with 2ohm subs wired parallel on mono. what's the pros and cons of the differences? any help appreciated.
