The flower was unique because I think it is a mushroom. The flowers stem and leaves (tight around stem), are white and have the texture of a mushroom. The flower itself has white pedals tightly around it's 'innerds'. Yes, this looks just like a flower but is all white. Any quess's as to the name of this plant? I have searched many websites but have not located an answeree. Perhaps it is undiscovered!

Indian pipe. (Monotropa uniflora). and congratulations on your luck, it's possible to live your whole life where they grow and never see one.
