I have a electric shaver... which is battery powered. The battery gets charged by a 110 V to 6 V/150mA DC adapter. Now I use it in india and one of the electrical shop keeper suggested me to use a 220V to 4.5V/800mA adapter to charge its battery.
The original charger had 6*150=900Volt-mAmp charging power whereas the one suggested to me has 4.5*800=3600 Volt-mAmp charging power. So will it be safe to use this adapter to charge the battery???
