I think it's great. It lowers all the trash used with regular pads, and is probably cheaper in the end. It would be a little weird at first and take a little while to get used to.

no, I dont think so. I would feel dirty and smelly all the time.
I'm not opposed to a green alternative, but it would have to make me feel not self conscience.
