1) Best quality drive (comfort, steering, manouver etc.)
2) Has the most space in the boot (to carry stuff)
3) Most fuel economic
4) Doesn't look ugly
5) Offers cheap insurance
6) Affordable (under £30K, although debatable)
7) Lasts you for years
8) Requires low maintainance
9) Parts are not too expensive (like Korean and Malaysian cars)
10) Sturdy (does not fall apart after a few bumps)

I'm thinking Toyota Prius but I am open to opinions. Cheers

Have your self a test drive in the Kia Sportage, great all-rounder. Tow car of the year, cheap parts, . very safe and good on fuel. Intelligent 4 wheel drive. ABS and EBD braking systems to help you stop fast when you need to. Traction control. Twin front ,side and curtain airbags. Air conditioning. 16" alloy wheels. 60:40 'one-touch' flat-folding rear seats (ideal for storing large packages or nagging in-laws). Immobiliser and perimeter alarms to keep nasty so-and-so's at bay. CD audio with MP3 player for your listening pleasure. and still well under 30k. I love it! Good luck in wot ever you choose
