I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 and lots of times my battery is still at 50% or something and I have to leave and take the phone with me. So does removing it from the charger could destroy the battery ?
nope. you're probably thinking of the old batteries they used to have for mobiles, the kinds that had a "memory imprint". the current lithium ion batteries they now use don't have that, so it's perfectly fine, and safe.
