2002 Audi a4 fwd. Will a quattro transmission work?

My 2002 Audi a4 4 cylinder 1.8t fwd manual transmission grinds on 3rd. I found a Manual tranny. Same 2002 audi a4 4 cylinder but its Quattro and mine is just fwd. will it work? Can I make my car Quattro since it comes with the tranny and transfer case? It costs 300 and it was working before it overheated the engine. Thanks guys.!!!
 
no you cant because the car itsself doesnt have a rear differential, or drive shaft going to the rear or anything like that.

i mean it can be done but it is going to be more money than it is worth.
 
no the rear drive will just turn if you put it in gear, and you need a thorsen differential and a rear differential as well , new exhaust system and all new rear suspension
