This afternoon I bought a package of two chicken/cheese enchiladas, with tomato sauce, from a supermarket deli prepared food case. At home I now see the package has a list of about 100 ingredients, with chicken the first, thank goodness, but no instructions on how long to heat up for good taste and safety. I am thinking I will heat them in a preheated oven of 350 F degrees, for 20 minutes. Does this sound right? I have no food thermometer. Thanks.

I would put it into a cold oven and set the temp to 350F and the timer for 30 minutes and check it then, I imagine it will be steaming hot

I would call the deli and ask if the chicken is raw.
If you heat that for 30 minutes and the chicken is cooked, you are going to have some dried up enchaladas.
Once you know the usual procedure for them, you can heat them properly and end up with a tasty dinner.
If the chicken is cooked, there is no safety issue and you could probably just microwave them till they are hot.

? Are you just heatiing it up or is it RAW chicken because if it's raw then it depends on how much chicken we're talking. I would do atleast 30min
