I am straight but I thoroughly enjoy having gay people on this earth.

I would call you ignorant and be upset and so on.
But you and I both know gay people aren't going anywhere, and in the next few years they will thrive as they gain rights, acceptance, etc.

So you can go on being hateful and rude, and that won't change a thing on this planet. But same sex couples are going to continue to love and they will be the ones to make a difference and history books in 50 years will be praising their efforts whether you like it or not!
