I purchased a pioneer DEH 2550 UI and I haven't tried connecting my iphone 4 yet because it might ruin my head unit. Do I need to purchase the accessory or is it okay to use the iphone connector that I am also using for charging?
@Justin, Thanks. Although the unit says it's made for Ipod/Iphone, it also say that an optional cable is required. I'm not sure if this is just a marketing strategy that they have to sell their accessory.
