Hi! I need more motivation to workout! I have been for about a month and I've lost 5 lbs! But now I'm kind of thinking: 'What's the point in working out and making your muscles look good, if they're just going to be covered in clothes all winter?' and 'What is making my muscles look good going to accomplish in my life?' So I would personally like to know what are some of the reasons you work out for?

Hi Toaster,
For motivation put fun in your fitness plan and make your fitness goal personal. Keep experimenting and note what works for you. Set realistic goals and remember why you started workout.

I work out for several reasons. I feel better. I look better. I have more energy. I can eat more without getting fat. Im not huge, but nicely toned and muscular. However, I wear pants and shirts all year long. The only person that "sees" me is my wife. And she loves it !! My kids need an active and healthy dad. Im the only dad out of all my kids friends, and church family that still can play basketball on a high level. Make it a habit !

I work out to stay in shape (I'm in a sport so i have to keep it up during the off season) and i like not being overweight it looks and feels better in opinion.

I will live longer, I feel better about myself, I look better which makes me feel good, It also kills time rather than lazing on the couch.
