Legal Advice. Can my ex-cellphone provider Fido / Rogers in Canada charge any

amount after cancellation? Good Morning

To my understanding my ex-cellphone provider in Canada Fido / Rogers is charging me more than they should on my bill.

I call them to terminate my monthly plan (no contract) on Dec 7 to give them one month notice, and
I called them again to reconfirm that my account was terminated on Dec 14th.

They are billing until January 23, including: my plan amount + features amount + phone usage until Dec 23 that should be included in my plan features.

I would appreciate any legal advice or alternatives before I call them. Are there any companies that protect consumers? Eg. (Consumer reports, etc...) Are there any regulations from the government on companies like these?

I just want to mention that It is not about the money. It is about doing what is right.
