ok this is kinda a 2 part question
first: i have ipod touch 3rd gen with ios 4.1 updated on it and when i play angry birds, doodle jump, need for speed, and others it is lagging alot and wont really respond right away if i upgrade to ios 4.2 will it take away this lag or will it be the same or worst?
second: if i do upgrade will i lose in game purchases like i bought the 4 car packs in need for speed shift. will i lose thous?

it is not jailbroken and the car packs where bought through the game and aren't on itunes itself
