Basically, after you do Heian Godan and get from Purple Belt to Purple And One White Stripe, what kata do you do to get to brown belt, Bassai Dai or Tekki Shodan?
Purple belt? White stripe? You use shotokan terms, but what's with the stripe stuff? Bassai Dai, and tekki shodan are often taught at the 3rd, or 2nd kyu levels. Depending upon your instructor(s), one or more of several kata may also be taught. What kyu is purple belt, and what is your style?
