America spends 1,000 % more money helping other country's then they spend here at home in America each year. Why do republicans complain about what America spends helping Americans but say nothing about the real money being spent for the same reasons helping out country's like Mexico and over a hundred other country's.
It's American tax dollars, so why are we attacking Americans and giving away to others. America first, then what we can afford goes to helping others. Is it stupid republicans lack of knowledge of how much money we give away or racist afraid one minority might get a free ride?

Yes, America spends money on humanitarian efforts in less-developed parts of the world - HUMANITARIAN efforts. We help people in impoverished, war-torn, and disaster-stricken areas. And no, most Republicans don't complain about this, because contrary to what liberals would have you believe, most Republicans actually care about people - ALL people ALL over the world. Liberals want everyone to think that Republicans are all rich white people who care about nothing but their own interests... when frankly, nothing could be further from the truth.
Republicans are complaining about how much money the gov't spends here in America because a lot of the spending here is what is called "throwing good money after bad". Unlike the money we spend in other countries, the money getting spent here usually doesn't end up helping anyone. We are trying to spend our way out of debt... which never works. We are spending billions bailing out failed corporations (for nothing) and creating "stimulus" plans that aren't stimulating anything, certainly not job growth. One expensive scheme is being thought up after another... all together costing trillions of dollars. And where does this money come from? Trees? No, our pockets... in more taxes. Who wants more taxes? THAT is what Republicans are against. More taxes on us... being spent into oblivion by our gov't and no one has anything to show for it... well, except for more taxes. At least the money we spend in other countries actually HELPS people.

Um, I'm worried about how much tax payer money is being spent/loaned everywhere. That's why I'm always complaining about the IMF.

Obama stuck $108 billion for the International Monetary Fund into a war funding bill. Why aren't Democrats complaining about that?

ok know for a non bias view on this, people, a lot of people come under the impresion that republicans are blood sucking rich jerks. sometimes this is true, just as its true that some democrats are poor hippies. I come from a middle class family were one brother in republican the other is democrat and neither breaths fire or wears peace signs, they simply have diffrent views on things. the real reason republicans dislike spending is not so much the spending is not the spending itself but how its spent, they believe in free enterprise, small government, and little interference with personal affairs, such as bailouts or socializing medicine, on the other hand they do view the government as a buisness itself were other countries are other buisnesses in which case to improve there economy is to improve buisness partners

They want that taxpayer money and always got it before Obama. That's why the bigots are everywhere now.

Americans have too high a standard of living, and we should spend lots more on our brothers in other countries. Republicans waste so much money catering to big business, reducing its taxes and approving its million dollar bonuses to executives who run the economy down, when they could direct that money to Americans who need it. Then we could direct even more to our brothers in other countries that need it more.
