Your favourate soft drink

yeah the info is on semi. we only used to have semi skimmed in the house until recently but my mum (bless her) has started buying skimmed for me to drink as the protein to fat ratio is slightly better.

the stats were off wikepedia btw. just type in milk!

I can't stand skimmed milk. It's just too thin and watery for me.

Mind you, I found semi-skimmed took a bit of getting used to when my Mum stopped getting it when we were kids.

So in a nutshell, if you drank say two pints of semi-skimmed every day, would it be very fattening? (I couldn't manage six pints!)

not at all. infact id go as far as to recommend it! a few pints of milk is an easy way to get the afore-mentioned health benefits and make up your protein levels. my nextdoor neighbour is a milkman

not wanting to hijack the thread but make sure its real milk not soy milk.

for reasons why.

neither am i suprisingly enough. if you are suggesting that someone should not drink milk because it is not naturally available to them it is a very weak argument.

Just in time for Valentine's Day .....

Anyone try "Turn On" yet??

I saw this today and was wondering if this will be a new favorite for some

The soda was banned in France and Denmark, but makers insist it is safe and works as an aphrodisiac

People who have tested the soda said it tastes just like cherry soda.... (added ingredients are just guarana, ginseng and caffeine.)

i love dr. pepper or diet coke with vanilla mmmmmm........ but i hardley ever drink them though because my mum lectures me all the time about how fizzy drinks stripe the bones of calcium blah blah blah yeah lol

Usually I drink water... lots of it.

For the occassional soft drink (soda, soda-pop, etc) my first choice is Cherry Coke, although I am also fond of Dr. Pepper, Coke Classic, and others.

In Korea I drank a lot of barley tea, boiled with a touch of chicory... very addicting!
