would upgrading my cpu from amd64 3500+ single core to any 939socket dual core

matter on this motherboard? i bought a gforce 8800gt about 4 months ago, and i was thinking about upgrading my cpu from an AMD64 3500+ 2.2ghz single core processor to a dual core (any that i can find on ebay, suggestions welcome), but i didnt know if my motherboard would bottleneck me. should i just buy a new computer instead ? motherboards info from cpuz is as follows :
