...allison tranny? i have a 96' dodge 12 valve with an automatic transmission. the pump is turned up a medium amount and i have a straight pipe with a 7" tip and i think somewhere around 80 horse injectors.... my problem, my transmission isnt holding up behind the torque. somewhere between the pump mod and the injectors it started slippin now i have to baby it around so i was wondering if it would be possible to convert the standard auto tranny over to an allison tranny and if not what are some suggestions to help my problem cause i need something to handle the torque and it is gonna be too much work to convert it over to a 5 speed.
