Windows movie maker wont publish with divx filters?

I converted videos from my phone into divx files then made a video on Windows movie maker. Every time I try to publish its gets stuck. When I turn divx filters off then publish, the video is black when I try to play on WMP, Divx, Media suite, etc. Not sure what to do. Please help, the video is for a major project of mine. Thanks.

If you still have the original videos, convert them to WMV files. Even AVI files will work as long as they have nothing to do with DivX or Xvid. Both of these give all versions of WMM the fits.

If you don't have the original clips anymore, try converting the DivX files to WMV.
