why does this guy like me more after i argued with him?

it was pretty rough too. it was just a common argument about politics, and i kinda went after him. it wasn't a polite discussion to say the least.
and now he is talking to me even more, my friends are convinced he likes me more than he did before.
why would he tolerate that?

Arguing for some people is like foreplay. This is especially true of heated subject like politics. As a political junkie I can tell you there is nothing sexier than a man arguing with me on that subject. This guy probably feels that way too.
