My truck makes a noise like a if im low on power steering fluid when im turning but is not low at all what could be the problem
Its a 2000 dodge dakota
If there are no leaks then it's most likely that the pump is failing and needs to be replaced.They run about $50 for the 4 cylinder and V6 engines and $100 for the V8.
there are a few thing you could be dealing with. one possibility is that the pump its self could have a bad bearing or something of the such. another is that the valves or seals in your rack and pinion could be leaking internally or bypassing.
