Why does my Env2 keep randomly turning off?

my phone did that too. getting a new phone won't do anything. buy a cheap new battery on ebay! mine hasn't shut off since i got the new battery.

The same thing happens to me. It has turned off about 4 times in the last hour. GRRRR I'm trying to wait until September when I get a new one but it's soo annoying!!!

Env2 ramdom power off

My ENV2 kept randomly powering off. I followed the suggestion below and it fix my problem.


"the reason it is shutting off in your pocket is because the thing that connects the battery to the phone is dirty or something. just get a cue tip or something and swab it out."

"try pressing on the bottom of your battery, it'll probably turn off right after you press it. or atleast it does it on my env2"

what it is, is thhat either there is water damage or the battery has simply gone bad if it happens too much there isnt alot you could do so take it to Verizon and ask/ get a new one:be polite:
