keep prayers short? "And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him." Matthew 6:7-8
There seem to be an awful lot of Christians that turn a prayer into a 5-10 minute sermon. Why can't they just sum everything up in a single sentence instead? After all, God knows what they want before they pray.
