The only reason he is doing a sign and trade deal is because he knows after a new CBA is in his place his salary could drop by like 25%. I don't realy think he cares about Denver. Also he would have accepted to a trade to the Nets which would have given Denver the most they could get Favors, an expiring deal, and Terrence Williams and a 1 first round pick. Whereas Knicks don't have any player with the potential of Favors and a 1st round pick.
I think it would be hilarious if the Nuggets and 76ers did a trade where Carmelo along with a first round pick went for Denver to bring Igoudala and expiring deals so that Carmelo would lose money and so hat he will be out of the playoffs this season.
