instead of saying all the other commandments are abolished by these 2 commandments?

He didn't say that the other commandments were abolished by them. Somebody -- or your version of the Bible -- has been lying to you.

What he actually said was that all the Law and all the Prophets (i.e., the Old Testament) can be summed up by loving God in proper measure and in loving our neighbor (other human beings) in proper measure.

Because the ten commandments had to be taught as were since Moses received them. Jesus repeated the teaching of Moses, bringing them to the true meaning, this was brought from the old scriptures. Meanwhile the ten commandments penalties and sabbath were nailed in the cross because were a heavy burden that neither the jews nor the gentiles could carried.

Those two sum up the 10.

Commandments 1-4=Love towards God.
Commandments 5-10=Love towards man.

If you want to take a look at the Ten Commandments (Exodus 34:6 & on) you'll notice they all talk about loving God and loving other people. That's what Jesus was talking about.

.

Because the Commandment "you shall love the Lord you God"

is a summary of the first FOUR of the Decalogue,

and the second "You shall love your neighbour"

is a summary of the remaining six of the Decalogue.

NONE of the Ten Commandments have been abolished.

. . .

I agrre with The GMC. Sit down and read the 10 commandments and then read the one Jesus gave us before he left us.

He's saying that the "good" that commandments are meant to get people to accomplish, is accomplished easier by "love".
If people had outgoing concern for each other the way Jesus does for us, there is no need for commandments or laws.
