Why are verizon customers so stupid?

I swear all the people i know with verizon have no idea that their phones can even go on the web. One of my friends even told me that they didn't know they had unlimited night and weekends. please tell me why these people just don't know how to use a phone or even text?

some people don't feel the need to know about or use the internet 24/7, they have lives
verizon covers more places where at&t doesn't
some people are more focused on getting useful stuff done rather than wasting their time trying to figure out how to text or check their facebook on their phone.
i'm a happy verizon customer.
