I have an iPhone, and I use Twitter via the app, but when I don't have 3G/WiFi available I text in my tweets using my shortcode 86444. However, when I use the app again and look back, even tweets that are under 140 characters have been split up into about three tweets, sometimes one of which only contains one word! I don't understand why the tweets do this, is there anything I can do to stop it? It also only happens to some texted tweets, not others. For example:
Desired tweet:
I loved my time at Legoland, will definitely go again!
But what I get is three tweets:
Tweet 1: I loved my time
Tweet 2: at
Tweet 3: Legoland will definitely go again!
Desired tweet:
I loved my time at Legoland, will definitely go again!
