2006 Mustang V6? Since the G35 is a sedan and not considered a sports car, you would think it d be less, but I ve heard that because it has 280 HP compared to the Mustang s 210, it may be about the same or even more expensive to insure.
 
I would expect the Mustang would be more expensive, but the Infiniti, even the sedan, is a sporty vehicle, and insurance may well be the same or higher. While horsepower is one, several other factors determine insurance costs. Age of driver, likelihood of the car being stolen, location of the vehicle, past driving record, and several other factors are all considered in determining the cost of insurance. It pays to shop around, there is often a substantial difference between companies in rates. There is also a difference in the level of coverage and assistance in the event of a claim.
