Which phone is better iphone 5 or 4s or samsung galaxy S2?

im getting a phone for my birthday but i have to pay half of it and i dont know which phone is better for me to get .. i really want an iphone but people tell me that there crap and break easy and some ppl tell me that samsung is a better phone it just has all the smart people stuff lol ..
can someone please tell me which phone is better

mostly coz its the same hardware at half the price of the iphones.
iphone 5 = iphone 4s - better camera. worthless. check it out on GSMARENA
