Which bike do I buy?

I want to purchase a new bike. I will use it for going to school and coming back I may encounter some trails over the way so I have decided to go for the hybrid bike. I'm stuck between the specialized p.street 2 and the giant roam 2. Which one do I get. Which one has better pets. Which one is better for everyday use. Which one is an overall better hybrid bike for school everyday and back.

They're both very respectable bikes. I believe Specialized and Giant are both in the very small group of bicycle mfgrs who offer a lifetime guarantee on their frames. They both have disk brakes, which is cool.

The Specialized page has a tab 'See This Bike in Action'. I clicked on it and every page shows a bike flying through the air. I'd rather have a bike that goes along the street. 8^)

Between just these two I think I'd get the Giant. Can't say why except I like the looks better. And I like Shimano better than Sram, but that's just me. I'm sure you'd be very happy with either of these.

Also, unless you plan to do a lot of dirt riding (gravel paths, off-road, etc.) you might do better with something more made for the road, with narrower tires and without front shocks.

How many times are you going to ask the same question ? Go to the local bike shop and go for a ride. For commuting I would go with the Giant Escape or the Specialized Crossroads.

Just go test ride both. Both are good bikes.
