Where do I insert my .apk file to make it work? (sony ericsson x8)?

i downloaded a free android game, and I have the file in my computer, its an .apk file.

So now I connected the phone to the computer, and now I dont know where I should insert the .apk to make it work, here are the maps:

Albumthumbs
Android
DCIM
image
LOST.dir
media
music
notifications
others
PCCompanion
PlayNow
Ringtones

place it wherever you want ,
i created a new folder named apk and stored in it

after you finished copying the game to your phone

open the file manager
go to the place where that apk is located
and install the game

to install non market apps ( apk from other sites )
your phone should be rooted
and you need app installer to install the apk
