Do they want the best phone of the world, or do they not want to kill out their android crap? They are crazy about getting millions of more customers, so won't they beg Apple for it? The only reason Anyone gets Android is because Verizon has no iPhone
From what I had read there is a possibility of Verizon getting access to it sometime in 2011. The thing is you are dealing with business contracts and AT&T pays Apple money to have exclusive access it and they are under contract to only have AT&T have it for a set amount of time. You have to wait for that to expire and to see what they do. They might make more money just being with only AT&T and do that.
Also the android isn't that bad I actually know people who prefer it over the iphone as they don't like apple's products and how they run their products.
