What's the difference between the Volkswagen Golf Mk4 r32 and the r34?

As your other answer suggests, there is no such car as an R34 so it can only ever be a "played about with" R32 Golf. I used to own a Golf GIT simply by swapping the last 2 letters of GTI <:)

The R32 is a Golf with a 3.2 liter VR6 engine, with upgraded brakes and suspension, and a more aggressive body kit and interior. Volkswagen never made a Golf R34. Some people have swapped in the 3.6 liter VR6 from the Passat and renamed their car to 'Golf R36'. I can't say for certain whether or not anyone has increased the displacement of their 3.2 liter VR6 to 3.4 liters, by means of bigger bore or longer stroke, and renamed their car to 'Golf R34'. Volkswagen made a Passat R36, with a 3.6 liter VR6. The only R34 I know of is the 1999-2002 Nissan Skyline GT-R. Cheers.
