hi! i'm 16, almost 17 years old and i am about to buy a car. i've found a 2003 volkswagen jetta with only 98,000 miles on it, and it's $7,000 and it's very clean. i also found a 2007 mercury mariner luxury that is really nice that's $10,000. i've heard that jettas are unreliable and expensive to maintain. is this true?? BUT i also know that the gas for the mariner will be a lot. which one in your honest opinion is a better car for a teen girl??
