What kind of bike is this?

I don't know much about bikes, but I need to find one for school. I really like the bike pictured in this photo. If anyone knows the model or brand of the bike, or any information, that would be great. Thanks.

It's an old road bike from the 70's or early 80's. It has suicide brakes ( the brake extension where he has his hands ). The bike has a heavy steel frame and steel rims. Brakes are useless when they get wet. You really don't want one get something more modern.

Try Salvation Army or Goodwill for a bike like that.
