...post pictures to sell it online? I see many ads on craigslist of people trying to sell their cars and they black out or twirl the license plates when they post pictures. If somebody was to do anything bad with someone's license plate number, couldn't they just look to the millions of exposed license plates on the road?
If somebody had a notepad or an iPhone on their lunchbreak, they can write down a hundred license plate numbers.
By the way, what's the worst you can do with someone's license plate number?
A license plate number is nothing like a ss number. Everyone on the streets can see your license plate number. It's no big secret.
