The book I'm talking about is about a teenage girl who was supposed to be dead, but she wasn't because her father is a great (but illegal) scientist in the book who made artificial cells (which are blue) and hardware of her memories to bring her back alive. In the beginning of the book mostly what you can tell is that she can not taste, and to prevent her questioning it, her parents make her eat from a tube (something like that). The book cover I had was mostly just a blue image with numbers running vertically down and a girl's face on the right of the cover. She eventually saves her friends who also were dead because of a car accident she caused. But their souls were stuck in the hardwares that were meant to save them but they couldn't. The family (dad mostly) tried to keep this all a secret and moved to a town a secluded town.
