What is the largest size tire i can fit on a 05 chevy silverado z71 with 17 in. rims?

i would rather not put a lift kit on it so i was wondering how big i could go with the stock 17 in. rims without having the tires scrub.

Not sure about the 17" wheels. But, the largest I could get on my (now x) '91 Silverado Z71 w/ 16x8 American Racing wheels were the 275/75-16 in the BFGoodrich T/A.
