What is a romantic affordable vacation in florida?

Im from missouri my boyfriend and I have been together for almost 5 years so now i am wanting to take him on a vacation to florida by the beach but I don't want to spend more than 2,000 I was thinking maybe bringing a friend and her boyfriend to cut prices in half maybe because we would be driving as I don't have a passport and my boyfriend lost his too.
What is a nice place preferably a place with little to no kids
