What is a good workout plan for 17 year old?

I'm 17, 5'7", 135lbs...I'm not looking to lose weight. Just tone my thighs/butt area.

I'm not used to working out so I'm starting at 30 seconds each of whatever exercise(squats, lunges, etc) and then I take a 30 minute break and do another set.

I would love to walk but I don't have a walking buddy nor do I live in the greatest neighborhood.

What's a good workout plan for legs/thighs/butt and also a diet to go with it?
 
If you want to get in shape do lunges. No wimping out, no WALKING, that won't get you in shape. Be a man or forget it. Hardcore. You can't wimp through this. A good diet is no unhealthy food.
