We have a car for sale and are not sure what to ask, it has about 75,000 miles on it and is a convertable it has only had 2 owners and never has been in an accident. What would a fair price be?
I have tried kelley blue book, but they don't give prices for that year.
the vehicle is not rusty, I am in a warm weather state.

$1,000 at most
being from 1989, that really takes the value down. plus, again, being from 1989, its gas mileage isn't so great.

edit: my boyfriend had a 1989 buick, in excellent condition and low mileage, he bought that in 2000 for under $5000. when a car gets to be 23 years old, yes the mileage makes a small difference in price, but the question becomes, how long will this car run? if it's had to weather 23 years of snow, ice, rain, etc, it's probably not going to fetch you $8,000. my boyfriend's buick nearly died in 2004 because of all the weathering it had to take over it's life span. so don't try to swindle people for more than its worth.

an 89? id give you $1000 if that...

oh wait, i wouldnt buy a 23 yearold car, no matter the mileage.
every bushing and rubber part will deteriorating, the underbody will be rusty, i wouldnt bother
