Those were the days of rabbis, rebels and radicals that culminated in the Jewish diaspora when the Bar Kochba rebellion failed in 135 CE . . . culminating in the dispersal of Jews from Jersusalem.

The Pharisees evolved into Rabbinical Jews. This transformation allowed Judaism to survive.

The other three sects died off.
