What do you believe is the future of technology, both military and consumer wise?

I expect jets that go the speed of light, missiles that dead image planets. Televisions that are paper thin, surgeries that alter the human body, for example electronic eyeballs with a heads up display, or some type of contact lens that has a display and that is connected to the body which monitors heartbeats, vital signs and which can be linked to hearing aids as well (if a surgery for repairing hearing is not found). What do you see as the future? Also if this all sounds dumb, consider this: the world's first computer in the early 1950s wouldn't fit in a bedroom, and today we have smartphones far more powerful that for into our pocket.

Ladiesman, I never denied that the technological contribution was mainly done by the military and it's need for these tools and devices, therefore you're answer is flawed,
