Examples of cheaper equipment? So, I'm a complete newbie here. I've heard you need a mic, a pre-amp, a computer, and a recording software of some sorts. I want it to be good quality enough so my voice is the same, but I don't need any super-high-tech stuff. (Much too expensive... c: )
If I only want to record my voice, and only to listen to it as it is so I can get feedback on my voice, and add it to some tracks I've got on piano, do I still need the pre-amp?
Anything I'm missing or mistaken about here?
