I have a 94 Nissan hardbody 4x4 truck. It isn't lifted yet and its an XE. It is a single cab, 4 cylinder truck. I want more oomph, so I wanna put a V6 in it. I know the engine bay can accommodate a VG30DE engine, (the engine from the extended cab versions) but what else will fit? Will the 3.3 liter V6's from the later model Pathfinders and Frontiers work? How much work will it actually take? If they don't fit, will the VG30's engine mate up with my 5 speed tranny that's already in the truck? I want as much NA horsepower as I can get, without putting a V8 in it, because I don't want to do heavy mods right now. Any help is greatly appreciated, anyone who has successfully done this swap please respond, in detail and if you have pics to show steps or final product please post as well. Thanks
