What are the Pros and Cons of jailbreaking my 4G iTouch?

I just recently got an Itouch 4th generation, as I was told it's not much different from the 5th. What i'm wondering as well:
-Where do I go to jailbreak it?
-What can I do with it jailbroken that I couldn't do normally?
-Does it interfere with any of the activities you'd regularly do on an iTouch?
