Devon Walker, a safety for Tulane, broke his neck in a collision with a teammate during Saturday’s game against Tulsa. Devon Walker is officially diagnosed with a fractured spine and a collapsed lung.
Following the injury, the safety needed a tracheotomy to be revived. He was transferred to a local hospital in Tulsa where he is listed in stable condition.
Devon Walker is a senior who is majoring in molecular and cell biology. There’s no word yet if it’s expected that Devon Walker will ever walk again or not.
