I currently own a droid and i am under my families account. Can i get a free iphone with the data plan it requires and still be a part of my families account even though i am already getting a monthly fee for data?

Not sure what you;re asking. I don't see why you think you can't. My daughter is part of our Verizon family plan and replaced her BB with the iPhone 5 which she got using the same discount that makes the iPhone 4 free.
